Pat turned 67 yesterday. For those of you who don't know, Pat is my step-dad. A very serious (can't you tell?), philosophical individual who, on a recent outing to a certain antique fair, declared that if he were young today, he would most identify with "the hipsters". So, in honor of that declaration, my (also very serious) fiancé decided to doctor up a picture of him to use as his birthday card. The inside was quite hilarious as well but used many well-known pieces of advice Pat is frequently overheard recounting that I do not believe would be very appropriate to share. Suffice it to say, Alex may have a future in personalizing cards - it was pretty good.
